It's a season for more updates here at Nobles Cooperative Electric! We're on the verge of relocating to our office in Slayton, a move that brings mixed emotions. While our Worthington location has served us well, this transition represents a significant step forward in our commitment to you, our members and our ongoing pursuit of technological advancement. Please note that we will continue to maintain a presence in Worthington, with linemen at that location. Only our main office staff is moving to Slayton

As we've previously discussed, this decision wasn't made lightly. We've been planning for these necessary upgrades for several years, understanding that there's never a "perfect" time for such a major undertaking. At Nobles Cooperative Electric, our priority is to keep your rates as low as possible while simultaneously investing in the technology that allows us to serve you better. Our current building required substantial updates, and after careful consideration, we determined that remodeling and moving to Slayton was the most cost-effective and strategic solution for both our team and the communities we serve and opens our Worthington office to a new business opportunity.

Speaking of upgrades, we've dedicated substantial resources to our new NISC/SmartHub system over the past year. This platform offers a wealth of tools designed to enhance your experience as a member. If you have not set up your (6155200) SmartHub account yet, we encourage you to do so! Additionally, please ensure we have your most current contact information. In the event of an emergency or power outage, accurate information is crucial for us to reach you promptly

Recent events, like the recent small isolated ice storm, have underscored the importance of continued investments. Our commitment to infrastructure and technology upgrades has allowed us to maintain power more effectively, minimizing disruptions for you, our members.

Several of you have reached out about future rate increases, and we certainly understand your concerns. The current political landscape, particularly with ongoing tariff discussions, creates an uncertain environment for energy costs. While we cannot predict the future, we are actively working with our suppliers to navigate these challenges and minimize potential impacts on your rates. The cost of purchasing power is the primary factor that could influence rates in the coming years, and we are closely monitoring this situation on a daily basis with our power suppliers.

Finally, we're pleased to announce that David Dorpinghaus has joined Nobles Cooperative Electric as our new chief financial officer, effective March 19th. We warmly welcome Dave to our team. At the same time, we extend our sincere gratitude and best wishes to Mike Reemtsma, who has accepted the chief financial officer position at Northstar System Built. Mike's contributions have been invaluable, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

We're excited about this new chapter and look forward to continuing to serve you from our new location in Slayton. Thank you for your continued support and being the best members in the industry! We will keep moving forward, together.
