Ellsworth experienced a brief but powerful windstorm last night, leaving several members without power after trees came down on power lines. A big thank you to the Ellsworth first responders for helping secure the area and keep the streets safe while our line crews worked to restore power. It was a long night for everyone, but moments like these remind us how strong small-town communities are when neighbors and first responders work together. A friendly reminder: If you ever see a downed power line, stay far away and always assume it is energized. Never approach or attempt to move it. Report it immediately and let trained crews handle it.
