Represents District 3: Townships of Murray, Dovray, Lime Lake, Des Moines River, and Belfast of Murray County; Townships of Westbrook and Rosehill of Cottonwood County; Townships of Seward and Graham Lakes of Nobles County; and Township of LaCrosse of Jackson County, all in the State of Minnesota.
Tell us a little about yourself: I live on an acreage outside of Fulda with my wife, Aimee, and our two children, Logan and Olivia. I am self-employed. My wife and I own and operate a floor covering installation business.
Community involvement/service: I’ve been a active member of the Fulda Fire Department for 14 years.
Leadership positions: I served as treasurer for the fire department for six years. I’m currently a captain and a truck engineer for the fire department. I’m a board member of the relief association for the fire department. I’ve also gone through cooperative director training through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association to help me undertand the complexity of the industry I serve.
