Happy Halloween from Nobles Cooperative Electric! As little ghosts and goblins head out tonight, remember — safety shines the brightest light. Keep walkways well-lit, use reflective gear or glow sticks, and watch for trick-or-treaters crossing rural streets. Stay safe, stay visible, and have an electrifyingly fun Halloween!
Happy 75th Birthday to our friend Willie Wiredhand! We’ve proudly celebrated Willie throughout our new building here at Nobles Cooperative Electric as a symbol of cooperative spirit and community power. And today, on October 30, Willie officially turns 75 years young! Here’s to Willie — a timeless icon of the electric cooperative movement, a reminder that we’re powered by more than electricity: we’re powered by purpose and people. Thanks for lighting up our world, Willie! 💡
Standard Time Will Be Here Before You Know It! In November, we “fall back” one hour as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end. Mark your calendar: On Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 2:00 A.M., clocks are set back one hour (“fall back”), giving us an extra hour of sleep! Sunrise and sunset will be about an hour earlier than the day before — meaning more light in the morning. Since the time officially changes at 2:00 A.M., most people reset their clocks before heading to bed on Saturday night. And here’s a fun fact: it’s Daylight Saving Time — not “Savings” Time! 😉
Today, on National First Responders Day, we extend our sincere thanks to all who answer the call—day or night—to keep our communities safe. Many of our Nobles Cooperative Electric lineworkers also serve as first responders in their hometowns—volunteering as firefighters, EMTs, and rescue team members, all while responding when storms strike and power needs to be restored. We’re proud to work alongside these dedicated men and women who truly embody the cooperative spirit of service. Thank you to all who serve and protect our communities every day.
