In the News…
Adam Tromblay, CEO/General Manager
As we wrap up 2025, I find myself reflecting on what a meaningful and transformative year it has been for Nobles Cooperative Electric. One of our biggest milestones was moving into our new office. This long-planned project has allowed us to bring our team together in a space designed for safety, efficiency, and collaboration. It positions us well to continue serving you—our members—for decades to come.
Many of you also know about our efforts to bring a child care center into our former office building. This has been one of my personal favorite projects, and stepping back from it has not been easy. Later in this issue, you’ll see that the project has been paused for now. While that is difficult, we are encouraged that another organization has stepped forward with their own strong vision. We believe it is best to let them do what they do best, and we’re simply grateful that the conversation around child care options is continuing. If our involvement helped keep that discussion alive, then we’ve done our part. We are also pleased that the county will be able to utilize a portion of the grant funding we received and repurpose it for another project that benefits families in our area.
Since late August, our focus has been on the potential Geronimo Power data center near Reading. We were excited to learn about a project of this scale being proposed in our area and the possibilities it could bring. After reviewing the details, we believe it has strong potential to support long-term rate stabilization, enhance reliability, create new opportunities, and bring well-paying jobs to the region. While Nobles Cooperative Electric is not building the project, we’re proud to be a supportive partner to Geronimo as planning continues. Their team has been collaborative and transparent, and we value the developing partnership. We see meaningful potential benefits for our members and the local economy, and we look forward to working together as this moves forward.
Merry Christmas!
Throughout the entire year, our team stayed focused on reliability, affordability, system improvements, and supporting the communities we call home. As we head into the holiday season, thank you for your trust and partnership. It’s a privilege to serve a region filled with strong communities, dedicated families, farms, and businesses. From all of us at Nobles Cooperative Electric, we wish you a joyful Christmas season and a bright start to the new year.
