Welcome Lyle! Nobles Cooperative Electric Controller
We are pleased to announce that Lyle Snyder has joined our team as Controller.
Lyle brings a broad and impressive range of experience in accounting, finance, and organizational leadership. Most recently, he served as an Accounting Specialist for the city of Marshall, where he managed critical financial operations including accounts payable and receivable, regular general ledger journal entries, audit preparation, and interdepartmental budgeting support.
His leadership background is equally strong. Lyle previously served as Pastor and Administrative Leader for St. Stephen Lutheran Church, overseeing finances, reporting, and a $350,000+ annual budget while supervising a staff of 11 and multiple contractors. He also held similar responsibilities at First English Lutheran Church and began his accounting career at The Children’s Place Association in Chicago, where he managed payroll and benefits for over 100 employees and supported general ledger functions.
In addition to his professional experience, Lyle is currently enrolled in the Master of Accounting program at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and holds graduate degrees in Public Administration and Divinity, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, cum laude from the University of North Dakota.
Lyle is excited to work closely with our entire team to build on our already stellar accounting operations. He shares our vision for continually improving our systems and supporting our members with reliable, efficient financial practices. As technology evolves and budgeting demands shift, we’re thrilled to have Lyle join us to help lead Nobles Cooperative Electric into the future.
