Nobles Cooperative Electric Assures Members:
Canadian Power Tariffs Not Expected to Impact Prices
We would to like address concerns regarding recently announced federal tariffs on Canadian imports and electricity. Nobles Cooperative Electric currently does not anticipate these measures will significantly affect wholesale electricity prices. This assurance is based on the fact that virtually none of the cooperative's power is sourced from Canada.
"We understand that our members may be concerned about the potential impact of these tariffs," stated Adam Tromblay, CEO/General Manager. " However, based on our current assessment and close collaboration with our power suppliers, we do not foresee an impact on the wholesale electricity market at this time."
Nobles Cooperative Electric is committed to providing reliable and cost-effective energy to its members. The cooperative will continue to closely monitor the evolving situation and maintain open communication with its power suppliers to ensure price stability.
