Summit Lake Solar Proposal
We have received a few calls from members who are confused about the recent article in The Globe titled "Nobles County hears proposal for solar farm near Reading." The article references a "Nobles Substation," which some members mistakenly believe belongs to Nobles Cooperative Electric.
To prevent further confusion, we have prepared the following statement to clarify our position on this project if needed:
To clarify any confusion caused by the recent article in The Globe titled "Nobles County hears proposal for solar farm near Reading," Nobles Cooperative Electric wants to assure our members that we are not involved in this project and do not plan to purchase power from this facility. Additionally, the "Nobles Substation" referenced in the article and the proposal is not owned or operated by Nobles Cooperative Electric.
For your reference, we have also attached the information presented to the Nobles County Board of Commissioners by Summit Lake Solar at their November 19th meeting as well as a copy of The Globe story.
